TIGJARS is a small, home-based 501(c)(3) rescue with a big heart. The animals who come into the care of TIGJARS are welcomed as permanent residents, where they are given a safe, loving sanctuary furever home. This is often due to advanced age, hospice care, or other special circumstances that require lifelong compassion and stability.
In addition to our sanctuary mission, we strive to support community members in need by helping them keep and care for their pets whenever possible.
Every dog in our care is treated like family — because to us, they are.

What We Do
Founded in 2022 but a dream in the making for many years prior, the mission of TIG's Journey Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is to provide safe haven for senior and special medical care animals through their golden years, and also animals with special circumstances that require lifelong compassion and stability.

Foster & Adoption
Historically, we have welcomed foster animals and public adoptions. Due to the very small size of our organization and limited resourcing, we are not able to support a foster/adopt program at this time.
